A long silent prayer in the night,
Moment of peace that dwells in the heart,
The beast from within was made to be caged,
A grief that struck oblige not, though in pain...
The eyes that are shut, sense no dark,
A lip sealed tight, speak none of fault,
With ears that hear not, nor are they deaf,
Letting the heart chants, of her sweet serenade...
A full moon, a thunder or a snowy night,
Glitters of stars that brighten the skies,
Wither they not like flowers in February,
Singing in hope of a day that passed by...
Strike not, as darkness is still long,
Say none of plight, for day is yet to come,
Seek and adore but only with the heart,
As these are my only prayers in the night...
