Life is...

Life is beauty, life is kind,
A day at the beach while the sun still shines,
Birds singing in the midst of the mountains,
Even when it rains one still smiles behind the curtains

Life can be harsh, it can be cruel,
Yet if one sees life more than just a duel,
Open up thy mind and so you will see,
The world is colorful and is filled with much glee

Life can corrupt, life can endure,
The journey you begin, the end you're unsure,
But that is the beauty for which you should know,
The how, which and why... with answers you'll grow

Life gives and life takes,
When the time comes mistakes you will make,
The wheel shall turn and you are down under,
Fret not my friend, after which you'll fly higher

Life is my dear is how you interpret it,
It can be filled with fun or end with an anguish,
Teach not I am for my journey is still far,
Life is, life is, life is.... make love and not war?

Pain...

Why do I still feel pain,
When I know what I am doing is for my own good,
Why must it hurt so much,
When moving on is the best thing to do...

Things that I have kept to myself,
Lessons I've learned from before,
Perhaps this pain would wash away,
These memories I should ignore...

I hate that I must feel this way,
Where have I gone wrong?
There's no excuses to curb this pain,
It's m choice, my own to bear alone...

My heart torn into pieces,
And nothing from beyond this feeling I could see,
If you let me be for now,
There might not be a tomorrow left for me...

I've seen more than I should,
Bite more than I could,
Love and lost and loved again,
In the end it still ends with pain...

Two different worlds we are,
Seeing, knowing and wanting,
I can never change you nor you can I,
With this pain my dear, I bid you goodbye...
