Sunset

The thing I love about sunset is that... well there are too many reasons for that question. I love the colour, I love the ambience but most of all I love the melancholy feeling that I always get watching the sun makes it way through the horizon, while leaving each and every of God's creature in the hands of the night.

Was out twice these past few days, to watch this miracle of God, that happens every single day, but somehow is long ignored by us, who are too obsessed in chasing life and yet forget to live it. Tell me, when was the last time you sat down to watch the day gallop his golden stallion across the earth and sky, while around him, spectrums of air is filled with colours that can never be painted by words? I for once have forgotten of its beauty. Have you?

As I was watching this incredibly stunning scenary, I felt peace, a word unfamiliar to my heart for quite some time. I see the sun telling me goodbye, but within his goodbye, a sacred promise is made. A promise of I will return to you my dearest. It's darn funny to think that people say, it's painful to say goodbye, when each and every single day, we live through it. I guess, if it hurts so bad to say goodbye, then we must be suffering like hell right now. Maybe it's not the goodbye that is painful but rather not knowing if we will ever see the ones we love again.

The sunset is beautiful to me. It lets me believe that, though I, myself, am left alone in this darkness of life, tomorrow will come, a tomorrow when I will be able to live again, to smile again and... to love once again. Stop and stare I bid to all. Look through the sunset and deep in your heart. It will find you peace... =)
