Being Civilized or Independent??

Humanity has undergone hundred thousand years of war and development, with each one trying to uphold their own believes of the perfect civilization.  With each civilization comes a set of rules and regulations that must be obeyed by every subject and disagreeing with these men made commandments, one will be severely punished. Awkward part is, in this new civilization that we live in, the term freedom and independence are also shouted out along side the need to adhere to these so called law.

Hey people, so how's everyone doing? Today's topic is going to be a little deep and if you're interested I always welcome comments and critics. So back to the main topic, being civilized or independent...

Being a Malaysian, we are said to be living in a developed and civilized nation. This term can also be related to big nations such as America, Germany, Japan etc. (you know what I mean). Anyhow from whose view is it that we call ourselves civilized? That is my first question for my beloved readers out there to ponder.

Another notion that has also been bothering me is, Malaysia (or every other free nation that is) has been said to achieve independence. Still remember your history? Well let us journey back through time. (Maybe for foreigners who don't really know about Malaysia's independent, here's the gist of it) In school, we have been taught that Malaysia achieve it's independence in the year 1957 on the 31st of August. This is of course after the invasion by Japan and Britain of Tanah Melayu since 1786. (For the British and Japanese people who are reading this, I'm sorry to say but these are facts) FYI, invasion on other countries during this time has always been about maniacal obsession to obtain power and wealth from these victims of theirs. Though manifestos were thrown about of how these ppl are actually our saviour instead of enemies, actions have proven that they are actually lies. Many suffered both physically and morally. Anyway back to Malaysia's independence. After grueling years of oppression and indignity, a rescue group so to say, lead by the prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, went to England to declare the need of the country for freedom and thus came Malaysia's independence. Well sort of...

Perhaps some might say, what the hell are you talking about Mooney? Hurrmmm. Simply this... Before agreeing to the proposal of independence by the British, the representatives of Malaysia was asked to accept a few demands of the British themselves. Heck I would like to ask you this, in your right mind, if a country is independent, shouldn't it be able to make their own decisions without anyone else interfering? I mean, just look at the so called big nations nowadays... America for example, why do they do what they want? When people say no, they don't care do they? Well, shouldn't all so called countries be able to do that? Why in the world, this big nations want to come pollute the minds of the smaller nations with their term of civilized? Are they just so damn perfect that they think they are able to give us a lesson in culture? You know what I think? f them. That's rite f them.

Think about it? Don't all these seem a little too familiar? This is no more no less than invading and raping weaker countries of their independence which of course is done in a different way. We talk about piracy and relate it to stealing. What is happening here is far more certain compared to that. Just look at it? This is the world we are living in. You look to your right and you see the tall and mighty stepping on the subdued and surrendered. You look to your left the able just fold their arms with a grin on their faces, thinking that they are safe from harm due to being an ally to the big and strong, when actually the people suffers from the hideous hedonism that is being sold in the name of civilization. Think about it...

How do we define being civilized and how do we define being independent? Who are we really? Are we the predator or are we the prey? Are we stepped on or are we the one stepping? You know what? I just don't f?&king care. Nothing is being done about it. And why in the world do we learn history even? It's bound to repeat itself. Even more, the way I look at it, it's just another subject for people to prepare themselves to bully others who are weaker. Come to think of it, we often talk about saving the world for the future, but if the future is full of shit like what it is right now, screw it.

Well before I keep on swearing any further, I would like to end this topic with a summary of what I feel. People from todays world are bastards just like the ones in the past. Remember veni vidi vici? Well they will come, they will see and they will conquer. Discuss that....
