In search of power...Greed says hello

Hello again my beloved readers. It's been a while since my last update and for my MBS friends, your pictures are still in the edit process and insyaAllah it will be uploaded soon enuff. Jangan marah ahhhh. (Sorilah Hafiz. Lambat sikit update. Biasalah nak raya. Sibuk.)

Let us get back to business. Since it's been quite some time I've touched the topic on politics, today I would like to discuss a few matter that I find appalling in our political system today (actually it's not just today but it's been like forever), 'Greed' and 'Power'.

The political arena in Malaysia today has seen its growth, but sadly not in a good manner. A story that I would like to portray today is about a man. A man with a mission. His mission? To get to the top of the food chain of the political arena. With his charm and wits, one can't deny of his influence on the people. Though some might still look up to him, I on the other hand like a few others have lost faith in his ability to lead Malaysia to a bright future. Probably mislead by his suaveness, I was once awed by his promises of a just system but as fate and time has its destiny, I'm glad to say that his influential grip on me has deteriorate. Who you might ask? Let us just call this person 'A'. = P (catch my drift anyone?)

An action as many should know has its reasons. Some might deny this fact but trust me, we are all a bunch of hypocrites. But today I'm glad to admit the reasons to why I am frustrated with this so called 'A'. As many have known and learnt, politics is a troublesome field to be a part of. You will never survive by just obeying every single rule in the book, but I would like to point out here, purpose doesn't justify actions. It is sad to see that my once so called idol 'A', doesn't seem to think straight anymore and due to his unjustly actions, Malaysia a once peaceful nation has once again scar its beautiful story with a dark ink. In his journey to the top, without thinking of the consequences, he managed to unhook the ties that holds this multi-racial country into pieces and leaving behind the needs of the people to be upheld by no one.

As read in our daily highlights, the once multi-racial nation is left to chaos due to his rumours of a new revolutionised government. Some might say a revolution is what is needed here (which I am all for) but a revolution can be of two categories. One is when, the truth is spoken out loud and is taken by a great leader, whilst the needs and harmony of the people is left intact and the other is a revolution when every person is left to fend for themselves, which consequently causes chaos because only the strongest survive. Learned not have we from our ancestors that greed fuels to disaster and without a good conscience, we will all be consumed by it? Mistaken not by my writings but to be a great leader, shouldn't he or she be able to lead with a good conscience?

Being back here in Malaysia I'm sad. It's awful to see, since I last left for Germany to pursue my studies, my beloved nation is now again in its dark age. Respect for races have flown out of the window and sensitive racial aspects (which should be left untouched) are now brought into war to be used as tools to agitate the people and thus create a nation of every race for themselves.

Truthfully speaking, I miss my childhood Malaysia and what saddens me more is the fact that my future children and their generation might never see and come to love the Malaysia that I used to know. With hope I write and only with hope, I pray that Malaysia, the people, leaders, all the races, the old- and the new- as well as the future generations, will step up and bring back my beloved childhood Malaysia. Amin.
