Who will be next....

Imagine the stage is set...
Lights... Camera... Rolling....

Welcome to the show Ladies and Gentlemen... Now it is not often that we have the opportunity to see a history in the making, but today we are honored to see the crowning of the first ever 'Jejaka Malaya Terunggul'...

Ladies and gentlemen, after a gruesome 10 weeks of various challenges and in competition with 20 other contestants, we are proud to present to you today the 2 finalists of this show. Before we continue any further, here is a short montage of our two finalists... roll camera...

Montage 1:

Assalammualaikum.

There you go ladies and gentlemen. Strong yet moving words from both our finalists. So are we ready to begin? Welcome to the final stage of 'Jejaka malaya Terunggul'.... (wait for applause).

Thank you. Now without further delay, let us invite our two contestants onto the stage... (applause). Okay Saiful and Zafri. This final round will be divided into three categories. The first is the a lightning round of question and answer about Malaysia. Second is a talent competition whereby each of you are requested to perform a cultural talent, where it could be a traditional dance or playing a traditional music instrument or something in that area, which I believe both of you have a rough idea what you will be doing? And of course the final round which is a debate in which three questions will be asked and you will both need to voice out your opinion... So let the round one begin...
....................................
Round 3: So here we are at the final round. Listen carefully the two of you. You will each have 10 mins. to answer the three questions. Here are the questions:

a) If you were the Prime Minister of this country, what steps would you take as its leader, to overcome the racism issues that has been hindering our country from progressing further?

b) As both a malay as well as a Malaysian, which of the two do you prioritize first and why?

c) Do we really need these type of television shows to show us how much we should love our country and why?
........................................

This is a very unorthodox entry for me, but sometimes we just need to see things in a different perspective. To my malay friends, please do answer all three questions and to the rest of you, just ponder upon question a and b. We are who we choose to be, and I don't think that different races nor religions will deter the growth of Malaysia as long as we stand as one, united. Its funny when one brings up the issue for racism cause in my school days, it didn't even existed. Look really deep inside and make a change beloved readers. One person can't change the whole system, but one can always change oneself. We are the system, and if each of us change for the better, I don't think a better future is impossible. So I stand here today, wishing all Malaysians, salam merdeka.

p.s. Wouldn't it be funny if the television show above had this as the theme music?

oh and the names above has nothing to do with anyone alive or dead....

cheerios
