The reason that I posted this picture is because, I was wondering the other day, how fast we (meaning each one of us) are growing up. If we look into her eyes, we see innocence. The way I look at it, we were all once innocent. The thing is, during which stage of our growing maturity that we took the wrong turn and end up to be not as innocent as we used to? ( Very euphemistic on my part cause I'm pretty sure that people who are reading this, the word innocent has no meaning at all. =P Just kidding ppl. )
Look at the smile, and you can see that happiness is portrayed beneath it. Her laughter during this journey reminded me how beautiful the world seem to be, everything is without care and you are free to paint your own thoughts. I then wonder, has the world really changed as what most people say? Or is it just that I've changed? My thought was... The world has not really changed but it's us who have changed.
My question for all of you; have you ever wondered why everything seems to be more dull and frustrating than before as we are growing older? The truth lies within each and every single person. I'm sure all of you know the answer. It's not that it's getting more dull every day, it's just that our appreciation towards everything seems to deteriorate every single second. We push our thoughts in the direction of pessimistic intelligence (usually defined as maturity) at the expense of our innocence.
I'm not saying that responsibilities shouldn't be upheld nor avoided, but in our journey towards life, it's good at times to take a moment for yourself, while leaving behind worldly troubles and seek a little innocence, as a reminder to us all that we are all equals and that we are only human... =)
p.s If there is anything that is left out, do comment. Btw I'm seeking to hook up another blog for a short series of stories and if anyone has any idea to which theme is best for this series, it would be great. Really appreciate it. Thanks again and cheerios people =P
