NWTRE Ep 28: Persistence vs Determination

Don't you just wonder sometimes, where does the truth lies? What is correct and what isn't? Humans have bended the rules so much that we sometimes become lost and wonder on which side lies the right option.

When one comes to such a situation, do you dare proceed with your eyes close or do you just give up and let go? Are you a risk taker or aren't you? It's true that all of us want certain things in life... then the chance come and pass us by. Do we abstain ourselves from moving on or do we headbutt through all the obstacles... if it's the latter, answer me this... how do we as a normal being, define that act? Is it out of persistence and determination or are we just stubborn?

Some people say, principles are there to guide us. But how far do we really hold to those principles? If we lack the courage to open up even a little, doesn't that make us close minded? In the words of F. Scott Fitzgerald - 'The test of a first rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function.' and so, how finely tuned is our intelligence? With that I bid you cheerios...

Sometimes it pays to be persistent, especially when it comes to haggling somebody to 'belanja' you dinner!
